This membership opportunity
allows you to not only support Ballroom & Social Dancing but also to support an Iowa City landmark
and National Historical site - Old Brick.
As part of its on-going restoration, a new 3,000 square foot
wood floor has been installed in the auditorium which can
accommodate 300 people. Old Brick is located at 26 East Market
Street in Iowa City. At the corner of East Market and Clinton
streets, Old Brick is conveniently located near the University of
Iowa campus and the Iowa City business district.
Dances
at Old Brick are normally scheduled on the second Friday of the
month. The members who attend each dance make up the majority of those in
attendance. Guests and the general public are also encouraged
to attend and join in the fun.
The admission charge for each dance is $10 per person ($20 per couple)
for members and UI students, and $15 per person ($30 per couple) for
non-members. Membership, which can be paid at the door, is $50 per
couple per year. |
